BNP warns of instability if government fails to act

Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi cautioned that the present conditions could allow the resurgence of �defeated fascists� alongside extremist and anti-democratic forces, both domestic and foreign. "The symptoms of such a resurgence are already visible," the statement claimed.  

The BNP urged the interim government to take swift measures to restore order, warning that failure to do so would lead to widespread unrest.  

"Otherwise, anarchic conditions will spread across the country. It is now imperative to visibly demonstrate the role of the state and the government by strictly enforcing law and order," the statement read.  

Additionally, the BNP criticized the government for its perceived inaction over the past six months in bringing fugitive autocrats and their allies to justice. This lack of progress, the party argued, has encouraged lawlessness.  

"If the people take the law into their own hands while a government is in power, the government's image at home and abroad could be tarnished," the press release stated.  

The BNP also highlighted rising public frustration, noting that people from various sectors are taking to the streets with diverse demands, often leading to what it described as a growing �mob culture.� The party blamed the government�s inefficiency in addressing grievances for escalating public suffering.
