Anika's Snippets

If you never heal from what hurt you, you'll bleed on people who didn't hurt you. Life often weighs heavily on the heart, and it's easy to overlook the wounds left behind. But when pain goes unhealed, it doesn't stay inside-it affects how we interact with others.

We may lash out, shut down, or push people away, even when they've done nothing wrong. It's like carrying a heavy load of past hurt, and without healing, that weight spills over onto those who care about us.

Healing is crucial. It doesn't happen quickly or without effort, but it's necessary. Once healing begins, it creates space for peace, growth, and healthier relationships.

The hurt of yesterday doesn't need to control tomorrow.   So, be kind to yourself. Allow time and space to heal. It's okay to not be okay for a while. In fact, it's part of the journey.

The best thing you can do for yourself and those around you is to heal. The people who care about you deserve to see your full, healed heart. Take care of you.
