Bashar made Game Dev programme coordinator

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) decided to give former captain Habibul Bashar Sumon game development's programme coordinator role.

The decision was taken in the BCB's 18th board meeting on Monday.

Bashar currently held the post of BCB Women's Wing head.

BCB director Iftekhar Rahman confirmed this by saying, "Habibul Bashar was in Women's wing. From now on, he will be in Game Development. He is made the program coordinator of Game Development."

Before being made the Women's wing head, Bashar also acted as the national team selector, a role that ended in February last year.

BCB's Game Development works with U-19 and other age-level cricketers.

In Game Development, the main responsibility of Bashar will be to ensure all the facilities for aged-level cricketers.     —BSS
