The government has appointed new civil surgeons in 41 districts across the country.
The appointments were made through two separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday. The notifications were signed by Sanjida Sharmin, Deputy Secretary of the Health Ministry.
The notifications stated that the transferred/posted officers must join their new workplaces by Thursday. Otherwise, they will be considered relieved from their current positions starting next Sunday.
In the first notification, 12 districts received new civil surgeons while the second notification listed 29 districts with new civil surgeons.
These appointments aim to strengthen healthcare services across the districts.
