Bangladesh Ambassador to Greece addresses prestigious Ambassadors Forum 2025

Ambassador Nahida Rahman Shumona, Bangladesh’s envoy to the Hellenic Republic, delivered a compelling keynote address at the prestigious 2025 Ambassadors Forum in Athens, Greece.  

This prestigious event, organized and hosted by Webster University, the American University in Greece, serves as an influential platform for fostering diplomatic dialogue, cultural exchange, and international collaboration. The Forum brings together diplomats, academics, and global thought leaders to address pressing issues in global affairs.

As the first Ambassador of Bangladesh to inaugurate this year's Forum, Mrs. Shumona delivered a compelling keynote address on topics that highlighted the dynamic progress and international standing of her nation. Her presentation delved into Bangladesh’s remarkable growth, evolving economy, and global relations, as well as a nuanced exploration of the Bangladeshi diaspora in Greece — discussing migration patterns, integration, and the community’s valuable contributions. She further emphasized the potential for strengthened bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Greece, reflecting on her personal pride and commitment as a representative of her country in Greece.
