44th BCS results to be published by end of June

The final results of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination will be published by June 30, confirmed Mobasser Monem, Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the PSC's anniversary event on Monday, Monem said that the commission is giving top priority to completing the recruitment process within the shortest possible time.

 “The viva voce (oral examinations) will be completed by June 17, and we plan to announce the final results before the end of the month,” he said.

As per the original circular, the 44th BCS aims to recruit 1,710 cadre officers across various government departments. Approximately 3.5 lakh candidates had applied for the exam, reflecting the continued competitiveness and importance of public service in Bangladesh.

The BCS examination, conducted in multiple phases—preliminary, written, and viva—remains the country's most prestigious route to civil service. With thousands of top graduates competing each year, timely publication of results is crucial for maintaining transparency and momentum in the recruitment pipeline.
