47th BCS preliminary exam rescheduled for August 8

The date for 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination has been postponed. 

According to a new decision by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), the exam will now be held on August 8.

The announcement came through an official press release signed by Shahida Khatun, the official in charge of Public Relations Department of PSC, on Sunday.

The exam was scheduled to take place on June 27. However, following repeated demands from job seekers, PSC has decided to defer the examination.

Despite the rescheduling of 47th BCS preliminary exam, the written examination of the 46th BCS will proceed as planned and begin on May 8, as per the previous announcement.
