BML reacts to illegal expulsion of party secy gen Khair

 
Bangladesh Muslim League (BML) Standing Committee Members and senior leaders have protested against the publication of news in various media regarding expulsion of BML Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair from the party by holding fake executive committee meeting. 

In a press release sent by the BML on Thursday, the party leaders said, "We strongly protest against the publication of such false and fabricated news circulated by an opportunist group who are not members of BML."  

The party press release said, "According to the party's organizational structure, the former president of the party has no jurisdiction to call an executive committee meeting."

The decision to expel the long-time Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair of Bangladesh Muslim League, is illegal, unconstitutional and motivated.
   
Urging party leaders, activists and supporters not to be misled by such false and baseless propaganda, the leaders said the 21st registered political party, Bangladesh Muslim League, is being run from the party's head office at 116/2 Box Calvert Road, Naya Paltan, Dhaka under the leadership of the party's interim president Md Mohsin Rashid and Secretary General Kazi Abul Khair.
