Qatar State Minister for Energy meets CA

Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, met with Bangladesh Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday on the sidelines of Earthna Summit in Doha.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain, National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman, Energy Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, and Principal Coordinator on SDG Affairs Lamiya Morshed.

Earlier, Prof Yunus also held separate meetings with Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and mother of the Amir of Qatar; Sheikh Thani bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Fund for Development; and Nawaf Abdullah Al Hammadi, Assistant CEO of International Operations at Qatar Charity.

The Chief Adviser is currently on a four-day visit to Qatar to attend the Earthna Summit 2025, hosted by the Qatar Foundation.

He was received at Hamad International Airport on Monday night by Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar Md. Nazrul Islam. Prof Yunus departed Dhaka the same evening.
