Bangladesh women’s hockey team beat Uzbekistan at U-18 Asia Cup

Bangladesh’s women’s hockey team bounced back in style at the U-18 Asia Cup in Dazhou, China, securing a commanding 3-0 win over Uzbekistan on Saturday. 

The victory comes as a welcome response after their heavy 11-0 opening loss to tournament favourites Japan.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh men’s team continued their strong run in the competition, notching up their second consecutive win by overpowering Sri Lanka 13-0. This followed their solid start on Thursday, when they defeated Hong Kong China 3-0 in their opening Pool A clash.

The results mark a promising campaign so far for Bangladesh’s youth hockey sides as they aim to make a deep run in the tournament.
