The Ministry of Cultural Affairs has released the second episode of its documentary series titled ‘Warriors of July’ (originally ‘July Birgatha’), which chronicles the courageous struggles of those who risked their lives on the streets in July’s bloody days to overthrow fascist rule and restore democracy.

Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, announced the release on Friday.

The first episode of the series highlighted the story of Mahbubul, who lost his eyesight during the movement.

The newly released second installment continues to honor the brave men and women who stood unarmed before bullets, driven by unyielding courage and deep love for their country. Many of these heroes narrowly escaped death, leaving behind powerful stories of sacrifice and resilience.

According to officials from the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, upcoming episodes will further explore the untold stories of ordinary citizens who became symbols of defiance and hope during that tumultuous period.

The series aims to inspire future generations by preserving these powerful narratives of Bangladesh’s fight against tyranny.
