
Malaysian High Commissioner Mohd Shuhada Othman on Friday inaugurated the Study in Malaysia Education Fair 2025 in Bangladesh at the Hotel Sarina at Banani in the capital.
The fair is taking place simultaneously in three major cities--Dhaka, Khulna and Chattogram.
Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) organised the fairs aiming to strengthen academic ties, foster collaboration and raise awareness about Malaysia as a preferred study destination.
The High Commissioner said the participating Malaysian institutions are highly ranked in global university listings, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, medicine, business, IT and many more.
The fair will offer students' and parents' direct access to top Malaysian public and private universities, opening doors to affordable, globally recognized education pathways.
The fairs are taking place in Dhaka City on 18 and 19 July at Hotel Sarina, in Khulna City on July 21 at Hotel Castle Salam and in Chattogram on July 24 at The Peninsula Chattogram.
Regional Manager, South Asia Education Malaysia Global Services, Moeen Ud Din Ahmed Khan, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Sherene Azli, senior officials from the Malaysian High Commission and representatives of the participating Malaysian Universities were present on the occasion.
Chairman of Knowledge Hub Bangladesh, Arif Syed moderated the event.
The participating universities and exhibitors include Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Unversiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), UCSI University, Tuanku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT), Multimedia University (MMU), Management and Science University (MSU), SEGi University and Colleges, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, MILA University, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), BAC Education and KPJ Healthcare.
EMGS invites all students, parents, and education enthusiasts to attend the events of Study in Malaysia Education Fair 2025 Bangladesh in Dhaka, Khulna and Chittagong to explore the boundless educational prospects that Malaysia has to offer.
High Achievers Awards were distributed in the programme where students of SSC, HSC, A-Level and O-Level from 178 academic institutions, who secured outstanding results, were given certificate and medals for their academic feat.
