KSA invites CA to attend 'Future Investment Initiative 2025'

Saudi Arabia (KSA) has officially invited Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, to attend the ninth edition of Future Investment Initiative (FII9), scheduled to be held in Riyadh from October 27 to 30, 2025.

Saudi Ambassador to Dhaka, Dr Abdullah Zafer bin Abiyah, handed over the formal invitation from Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman during a meeting with the Chief Adviser at the State Guest House Jamuna on Sunday, according to a statement from the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing issued Monday.

This marks the first time a head of government from Bangladesh has been invited to the high-profile global investment forum, which has been held annually since 2017 and is often dubbed “Davos in the Desert.”

Expressing his gratitude, Prof Yunus thanked the Saudi Crown Prince for the invitation and said he would actively consider participating in the event.

He also thanked the Crown Prince for accepting an earlier invitation to visit Bangladesh at a mutually agreed date to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
