Panna under house arrest?

Senior Supreme Court lawyer and human rights advocate ZI Khan Panna has claimed that he is being held under house arrest, a revelation that has triggered intense discussion across social media and legal circles.

In a brief status posted on his verified Facebook account on Friday, August 15, Panna wrote, "I am under house arrest. I have not been arrested or detained. Still under house arrest." 

He did not disclose who had placed him under restriction or the grounds for such an action leaving the matter shrouded in speculation. 

The cryptic nature of the statement has fueled widespread debate, particularly given Panna's recent high-profile engagements in legal and political discourse.

Panna, known for his outspoken position on corruption, human rights violations and judicial independence, has in recent months intensified his public advocacy. 

He recently announced the formation of 'Mancha 71', a platform aimed at resisting distortion of the Liberation War's history and safeguarding the dignity of freedom fighters.
