Actor Hasan Masood hospitalised

Actor Hasan Masood was admitted to a private hospital in the capital’s Mohakhali area on Monday night.

According to hospital sources, he came to the hospital last night with a severe headache and seizures. After the necessary tests, the doctor said that he needs to be admitted.

“Hasan Masood is now admitted to the stroke unit of Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali,” the hospital’s managing director, Dr Ashish Kumar Chakraborty, told the media. 

“The actor has suffered an ischaemic stroke. He also had a mild heart attack. He is currently under the care of a neurologist, cardiologist and critical care unit doctor. Such patients are usually observed for 48 to 72 hours. After that, we can say what the next treatment will be,” Dr Ashish Kumar added.

Hasan Masood, once a popular actor who starred in many audience-favourite dramas, suddenly stepped away from the spotlight and has since remained largely absent from the screen.
