Ashfaq Khan receives ‘Best Tour Guide Award’ at Nat'l Tourism Awards 2025

Tourism veteran Muhammad Ashfaq Khan, a prominent figure in Pakistan’s travel industry with more than 35 years of experience, has been honoured with the Best Tour Guide Award at the 2nd National Tourism Awards 2025. 

The ceremony, jointly organised by Discover Pakistan TV and the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), was held at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad on December 2.

Khan, who has served extensively with the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), has built a distinguished career conducting heritage and history tours across Lahore and Punjab, guiding adventure tourism expeditions in Pakistan’s northern regions and performing protocol duties for VVIP state guests and diplomats. 

He also serves as a professional trainer at TDCP Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHM), contributing to the development of the next generation of tour guides.

The award recognises his longstanding dedication to promoting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, and tourism potential. His passion for reshaping perceptions of Pakistan and inspiring both adventurers and professionals has earned him respect across the industry.

A representative of Discover Pakistan praised the award recipients, saying, “We are incredibly proud of all the winners who received awards today.
