Two of Bangladesh's most historic sporting institutions, Victoria Sporting Club and Mohammedan Sporting Club, have taken firm disciplinary measures against Rasel Khan Bappi, following separate internal inquiries into alleged misconduct. Both decisions were communicated through official letters issued on 13 December, Saturday.

In its letter, Victoria Sporting Club alleged that Rasel Khan Bappi, while serving in an administrative capacity, engaged in serious financial and organisational irregularities. The club accused him of unauthorised withdrawal and use of club funds, illegal occupation of club facilities, and misappropriation of sports equipment and other assets. According to the letter, the alleged financial loss runs into several lakh taka. Citing provisions of the club constitution and decisions of the executive committee, Victoria SC imposed a lifetime ban and asked for the return of all disputed funds and assets within three days, warning of further action in case of non-compliance.

Separately, Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd. also issued an official notice against Rasel Khan Bappi, accusing him of unauthorised use of the club's name and involvement in activities deemed harmful to the club's reputation and organisational interests. Following what the club described as a preliminary review by its hockey committee, Mohammedan SC imposed an immediate suspension from all club-related activities.

At the time of writing, Rasel Khan Bappi has not publicly responded to the allegations. Club officials indicated that further steps would depend on the outcome of internal processes and compliance with the directives already issued.
