Abahani face Rahmatganj in Fed Cup today

Abahani Limited Dhaka take on old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in a Group A match of the Federation Cup football scheduled to be held at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla today (Tuesday).

The match kicks off at 2.30 pm.

Earlier, in the group phase matches, Abahani beat Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 4-2 goals in their opening group match but they lost to Brothers Union Club by 1-0 goal in their second group match.

While Rahmatganj played out to a goalless draw with Brothers Union Club in their opening group match.

Abahani Limited stood third position in the points table of the group A with three points from two matches while Rahmatganj collected one point from one match.

In the day's other match, Brothers Union Club will face PWD Sports Club at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital at 2.30 pm.

The all-orange Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club stood top of the points table of Group A with four points from two matches while PWD sports club, who stand second position, secured three points playing one outing.

Brothers Union Club earlier played to a goalless draw with Rahmatganj in their opening group match and edged past Abahani Limited Dhaka by 1-0 goal in their second group match.

Earlier, PWD Sports Club beat Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by 2-0 goals in their opening group match.     �"BSS
