Barrister Toby Cadman, the British international human rights lawyer, has stepped down from the post of special advisor to the chief prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal.
He did not specify any reason, confirmed that his contract term had expired and that it would not be renewed.
In a Facebook post, Cadman wrote that his contract expired last November and he was offered an extension. However, he decided not to renew it.
''It would not be appropriate to comment on the reasons for stepping down.''
Cadman is the co-founder and joint head of Guernica 37 Chambers.
