Bangladesh Bank has announced revised banking hours for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, shortening both office and transaction times.

During Ramadan, bank transactions will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, according to a circular issued Tuesday. All scheduled banks across the country will remain open from 9:30 AN to 4 PM throughout the month.

A break for Zuhr prayers will be observed from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM, but banks have been instructed to continue transactions during this period through alternative arrangements.

Under normal circumstances, bank transactions run from 10 AM to 4 PM, while office hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM.
