PM confers Major General Rank on New DGFI Chief Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury

Prime Minister (PM) Tarique Rahman on Monday pinned the rank badge of Major General on newly appointed Director General of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman accompanied the PM during the ceremony held at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment, according to a release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate on Monday afternoon.

The event was also attended by Adviser in Charge at the Ministry of Defence Brigadier General retired Shamsul Islam, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hassan and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, the ISPR added.
