HSC examinees in 2026 will be allowed to enter their examination centres from 8:30AM to reduce traffic congestion and public inconvenience, according to a new directive issued by the Dhaka Education Board.
The decision was taken to reduce traffic congestion and public suffering around examination centres, according to a notice signed by Dhaka Education Board Controller of Examinations Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu.
The directive requested officials in charge of all HSC examination centres under the board to make arrangements so that only examinees can enter the centres from 8:30AM.
However, previous instructions regarding the entry of candidates into examination rooms will remain unchanged, the notice said.
The board asked all centre officials to take necessary steps to implement the new arrangement.
Copies of the directive have been sent to the Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, deputy commissioners of districts under the Dhaka Education Board, relevant offices of the Education Ministry, upazila nirbahi officers, district education officers and upazila and thana secondary education officials.
