Jamaat invites PM to iftar
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has invited Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his family to attend an iftar programme scheduled for February 28.
A delegation of the party met the Prime Minister at the Secretariat on Wednesday morning and formally handed over the invitation letter.

Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar confirmed to the media that the Prime Minister cordially accepted the invitation.
"During the meeting, they invited the prime minister to attend Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's iftar programme scheduled to be held on 28 February," he added.
