Child burnt in K'ganj dies

KISHOREGANJ, Feb 26: child was burnt in a fire in Austagram Upazila on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Touhidul Islam, 8, son of Abu Torab of Alinagar Vllage under Austagram Upazila in Kishoreganj District.

Austagram Fire Service and Civil Defence rescued the child and admitted him to Austagram Upazila Health Complex.

The duty doctor, Aminul Islam, said he was seriously injured with 60 per cent burns on his body. He was referred to the National Burn and Plastic Institute in Dhaka. He died while undergoing treatment.
