Renowned artist and 2025 Ekushey Padak laureate Rokeya Sultana opened her three-day printmaking workshop, Impressions of Rokeya-2, at COSMOS-Atelier71 in the city.

Artists, students, and art enthusiasts gathered at the inauguration, where Director Tehmina Enayet warmly welcomed Rokeya-not just as a celebrated artist, but as a long-time mentor and collaborator. The workshop was arranged swiftly after Rokeya's recent return from abroad, fueled by an overwhelming response from eager participants.

Rokeya described printmaking as a "search of the mind," a process that allows freedom, experimentation, and discovery.

Designed especially for those outside formal printmaking studies, the workshop aims to open new creative doors.

Artists Biren Shome, Anisuzzaman Anis, and Bishwajit Goswami are introduced as special feature artists at the workshop.

Participating artists include Anukul Chandra Mojumder, Sheikh Mohammad Rokonuzzaman (Shohag Parvez), Rashed Kamal Russell, Rania Alam, Kamruzzoha Juton Chandra Roy, Towfique Emon, Sadia Mizan, and Puja Basak.     "UNB
