Jibanananda

From the Venice of the East-Barishal-
in copper-tinted envelopes
used to arrive the little magazine of poetry, 'Jibanananda' .

On heron- white paper freshly printed pages-
smelt Mihidana -like sweet scents from those letters.

Dear poet, Henry Swapan-da,
may it be published once more-
that bounded volume of 'Jibanananda',
flowing through heart of the Dhansiri  river.
