Motorcyclist killed in Badda road crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a road crash in capital’s Badda area on Monday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be known, aged nearly 25 years old.

The incident occurred around 3 PM on the Maddhya Badda U-loop bridge when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw hit the motorcycle, leaving the rider severely injured.

Later, he was quickly rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for emergency treatment, but the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

DMCH police camp in-charge Inspector Md Faruk confirmed the incident and said that further details regarding the incident remain under investigation.
