4,000 liters diesel seized in Bhola,one held

 
BHOLA, Apr 7: Members of the Bangladesh Coast Guard have seized approximately 4,000 liters of illegally transported diesel and arrested a man in a drive conducted in the southern part of the district.

The arrested person was identified as Mamin Miyaji, 45. According to officials, the seized fuel oil is estimated to be worth around Tk 4 lakh.

Coast Guard Media Officer Lt Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan confirmed that the operation took place on Monday evening in an area adjacent to Chatkimara Char under Bhola Sadar Police Station. 

 Acting on confidential information, a special team from Coast Guard Base Bhola carried out the operation at around 4:00 pm.
