Otithi, a community-based tourism initiative by BRAC, offers travellers a chance to explore Bangladesh through its people, culture, and natural beauty. Recently, Otithi has launched the Rajshahi Mango Orchard Experience, a seasonal Mango Orchard Tour.

The experience brings Rajshahi's iconic mango season to life through a thoughtfully curated two-day journey, says a press release.

Travellers can wander through lush mango groves, breathe in their sweet fragrance, and enjoy freshly picked fruit straight from the trees. For urban visitors in particular, the package offers a rare opportunity to experience mangoes at their source-freshly harvested directly from the orchards where they are grown.

As the Mango Orchard Experience now returns for its second season, it continues to extend beyond the orchards into Rajshahi's cultural and historical richness - from the Varendra Research Museum and the serene banks of the Padma at T-Badh and Padma Char, to local silk houses that preserve generations of craftsmanship.

Last year, Otithi's mango orchard tour welcomed distinguished guests including Michael Miller, Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Bangladesh, and Jan-Rolf Janowski, Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy in Dhaka.

Otithi's Mango Orchard Experience offers a refreshing way to experience Rajshahi beyond its intensity - transforming the summer heat into a backdrop for a journey shaped by nature, culture, and the simple joy of mangoes.
