Woman crushed under train in Dhaka

A woman tragically lost her life after falling down from a moving train at Kamalapur Railway Station on Saturday. 

The incident occurred around 8:00 AM while she was attempting to board a train. 

The deceased was identified as Asma Bhuiyan, 55, of Munshiganj.

According to her son-in-law, Saiful Islam, Asma and her husband Md. Momin were traveling from their residence to Munshiganj. After arriving at Kamalapur, she suddenly slipped and fell onto the tracks while trying to board their connecting train.

Asma was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition. 
However, the on-duty doctors declared her dead upon arrival.

DMCH police outpost in-charge inspector Md Faruk confirmed the death and stated that the body is kept at the hospital morgue for further procedures.
