Tech giant Walton's 'Global Distributor Meet-2026' was held in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. More than 250 distributors or business partners of Walton from Nepal and Bangladesh participated in the meet.
On Wednesday last (April 29, 2026), Walton Global Distributor Meet-2026 was organized at a five-star hotel in Kathmandu. Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Md. Shafiqur Rahman was present as the chief guest, says a press release.
In addition, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Managing Director S M Mahbubul Alam joined the event virtually. Addressing the Walton's business partners, he said, “Walton is now present in over 55 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. This growing global footprint reflects the strong demand for our products as we move rapidly toward reaching 100 countries worldwide”.
The event was also attended, among others, by Walton Distributor in Nepal Thapa Business Group’s Managing Director Pranil Thapa, Director Pranimesh Thapa and General Manager Surendra Pokharel, Walton Hi-Tech’s Vice-chairman’s Business Coordinator Shahjalal Hossain Limon, Chief Marketing Officer Zoheb Ahmed, Head of Distributor Network Md. Firoj Alam, Walton Fridge Chief Business Officer Md. Tahasinul Haque.
At the event, Bangladesh Ambassador Shafiqur Rahman unveiled 18 new models of Walton refrigerators. The new models include a 165-liter single-door refrigerator specially designed for the Nepalese market.
