Abdul Quaium joins SBAC Bank as AMD

Eminent banker Abdul Quaium Chowdhury has joined SBAC Bank PLC as Additional Managing Director (AMD). 

Prior to joining SBAC Bank, he served as Deputy Managing Director of The Premier Bank PLC, says a press release. 

Chowdhury started his banking career in 1994 as a Probationary Officer at IFIC Bank PLC, where he served for more than eight years. 

He later had a distinguished 20-year tenure at Southeast Bank Limited, where he held key positions including Manager of Principal Branch and Dhanmondi Branch, and served in the Foreign Trade Services Division, among other important roles. In January 2023, he joined The Premier Bank PLC as Deputy Managing Director and carried out his responsibilities with dedication and success.

Chowdhury obtained his Bachelor’s (Honours) and Master’s degrees in International Relations from the University of Dhaka.
