DBBL inks deal with BB for Tk 3,000cr financing scheme

Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC (DBBL) has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank under the central bank's BDT 3,000 Crore Cluster Financing Scheme. 

Under the scheme, eligible entrepreneurs will be able to avail financing at a concessional interest rate of 7% per annum, which will support business expansion, enhance productivity, and create new employment opportunities, says a press release. 

In the presence of the Deputy Governor Ms. NurunNahar and Executive Director Husne Ara Shikha, the signing ceremony took place at Bangladesh Bank Headquarters recently.

Md AhteshamulHaque Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank and Mr. Nawshad Mustafa, the Director (SMESPD) from Bangladesh Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Anwar Faruq Talukder, SEVP and CAMLCO, along with other high officials from both the organizations attended the programme.
