Mohsin Naqvi has been welcomed by his Iranian counterpart Eskandar Momeni as the Pakistani interior minister began a two-day visit to Iran to facilitate dialogue and discuss regional developments.

Iran’s WANA news agency said the ministers held a meeting to “discuss regional stability and bilateral cooperation”.

“Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening interactions to address shared regional challenges,” the report said.

Pakistan has been leading diplomatic efforts to reach a solution to end the US-Israel war on Iran.
