The Team Phoenix Group (TTPG), one of Bangladesh's leading cybersecurity convergence platforms, has officially announced a five-day 'Phoenix Summit 2026,' which will be held in Dhaka from June 23 to June 27.
The event will feature technical workshops at the Institution of Agriculturalists Bangladesh (KIB), while the main conference sessions will take place at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC).
The announcement was made during a press conference held on Wednesday (June 3) at the National Press Club.
The organizers highlighted their goals of strengthening Bangladesh's cybersecurity ecosystem by developing skilled professionals, enhancing collaboration among stakeholders, and improving digital resilience.
Those present at the press conference included ASM Shamim Reza, Dihan Islam Olif, and Md Abdullah Farid.
Powered by BRAC Bank PLC, Phoenix Summit 2026 aims to enhance Bangladesh's cyber sovereignty and national cybersecurity capabilities by bringing together representatives from government, industry, academia, and the cybersecurity community on a single platform.
The event is being supported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ICT Division under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA).
Participants will receive hands-on training in several critical areas, including Practical Cyber Investigation, DevSecOps for Practitioners, Application Security and Vulnerability Management, Defensive Engineering for the Ransomware Lifecycle.
The workshops will take place from June 23 to June 25 at the Institution of Agriculturalists Bangladesh. This will be followed by the International Cybersecurity Conference on June 26 and 27 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center, where policymakers, technology experts, industry leaders, and cybersecurity professionals from Bangladesh and abroad will participate.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Zahir Uddin Swapan as the chief guest.
The closing ceremony will feature Fakir Mahbub Anam as the chief guest. He is expected to address the role of cybersecurity in protecting national interests and supporting Bangladesh's digital transformation.
Rehan Asif Asad will attend as a guest of honor, while Kazi Anwar Hossain will be present as a special guest at the closing ceremony.
