BAT appoints Raiyan Ahmed as Head of Talent, Culture and Inclusion

BAT Bangladesh PLC has appointed Raiyan Ahmed as Head of Talent, Culture and Inclusion, effective 1 June 2026, entrusting him with leading the company’s people agenda.

In his new role, Raiyan will oversee BAT Bangladesh’s talent, culture and inclusion agenda, support leadership development and foster an environment where people feel supported, connected and proud to belong, says a press release. 

Raiyan brings 13 years of experience within the BAT Group, having served in diverse leadership and management roles across BAT Bangladesh and the Asia Pacific and Middle East Regional Headquarters in Hong Kong. Most recently, he served as Head of Operations HR for BAT Bangladesh, where he supported the business through a significant period of transition and capability development. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from East West University and is an alumnus of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School and Notre Dame College, Dhaka.
