Cocktail blast at Technical intersection

A cocktail explosion took place at Technical intersection under Darussalam Police Station jurisdiction in the capital on Tuesday night, though no casualties have been reported so far.

Darussalam Police Station Duty Officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Masum confirmed the incident at around 8:50 PM, saying police received information about the blast at Technical.

“An explosion occurred at Technical intersection around 8:50 PM. However, we have not received any information about anyone being injured in the incident,” he said.

He said, unidentified individuals carried out the explosion and fled the scene immediately afterwards.

Police are looking into the incident and trying to identify those involved, the SI concluded.
