BASIC Bank PLC signed an important service agreement with state-owned Sonali Bank PLC.
Under this agreement, BASIC Bank PLC has been connected to Sonali Bank PLC's own software 'Sonali Payment Gateway'. As a result of this agreement,, any person will be able to pay fees/charges, utility bills, universal pension installments, challan fees, etc. of various educational institutions and other government and private organizations using the 'Sonali Payment Gateway' through BASIC Bank more easily and securely, says a press release.
Md. Quamruzzaman Khan, Managaing Director and CEO of BASIC Bank, and Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, MD and CEO of Sonali Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at a ceremony held at the conference room of Sonali Bank's head office on Tuesday.
Among others, Abu Md. Mofazzal and Subhash Chandra Das, Deputy Managing Directors of BASIC Bank, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank, Aklima Islam, General Manager of Sonali Bank, Sumit Ranjan Nath, General Manager of BASIC Bank, and concerned officials of the both banks were present at the programme.
