Gold prices raise again

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has raised the gold prices in the domestic market again.

Under the new decision, the price of 22-carat gold has been hiked by Tk 5,482 per bhori, setting the new rate at Tk 228,556.

In a statement issued on Saturday, BAJUS said the new prices took effect from 10AM.

According to the new price list, 21-carat gold now costs Tk218,292 per bhori, 18-carat Tk187,440, and traditional method gold Tk153,148.
