Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Neymar has fully recovered from a right calf injury and is ready to play the full 90 minutes if needed in Brazil's World Cup Round of 16 clash against Norway.
Ancelotti said Neymar is keen to spend more time on the pitch, describing it as a natural desire for any professional footballer.
Asked at the conference whether the forward could start and complete the match, the coach replied: "He is fully capable."
"Neymar's vast experience allows him to control the tempo of the game. The team will rely on him when needed," he added.
Ancelotti also praised Neymar's influence within the squad, saying the forward has trained well throughout the tournament and remains an important member of the team because of his ability and professionalism.
Neymar has made just one appearance at this World Cup, coming off the bench to play 14 minutes in Brazil's group-stage match against Scotland.
The Brazil coach said the 34-year-old is now fully fit and available to play the entire match if required.
