Al Akhir wins international Business Analytics Excellence award 2026

Al Akhir has been awarded the prestigious Business Analytics Excellence Award 2026 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to healthcare analytics and evidence-based decision-making. The honor was presented during the International Royal Golden Fellow Award Ceremony 2026, held as part of the Fifth International Conference on Recent Advances in Social Sciences, Humanities, Management and Scientific Research (RAMAS 5.0 2026) on 29-30 June 2026.

The award was jointly conferred by Eudoxia Research University, USA, and the Eudoxia Research Centre, India, following a highly competitive international selection process. According to the organizers, submissions from researchers across the globe were evaluated on the basis of originality, innovation, methodological rigor, scientific merit, and their contribution to addressing contemporary global challenges.With participation from delegates representing more than five countries and awards presented across 4 major categories, the event brought together esteemed scholars, scientists, academicians, and professionals from around the world.

Al Akhir received the recognition for his research on the application of integrated business analytics in healthcare systems. His study presents a comprehensive analytical framework that combines descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to improve clinical decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable healthcare management.

The research analyzed healthcare data collected from 115 hospitals over a two-year period. The dataset included patient demographics, disease prevalence, treatment outcomes, hospital readmission rates, and resource utilization. The findings identified key operational challenges while demonstrating how data-driven strategies can improve healthcare delivery across diverse clinical settings.

According to the study, chronic diseases accounted for 36 percent of hospital admissions and were associated with a 42 percent probability of readmission within 30 days, underscoring the importance of early intervention and proactive disease management. Predictive models used in the research achieved strong performance, with logistic regression recording 83 percent accuracy and decision-tree algorithms reaching 87 percent accuracy, supported by 82 percent sensitivity and 84 percent specificity.

The research also found that implementing prescriptive analytics significantly improved hospital performance. Healthcare facilities adopting the proposed framework recorded a 15 percent reduction in patient waiting times, an 18 percent increase in treatment adherence, and a 12 percent reduction in operational costs through improved workforce planning and more efficient allocation of resources.

Researchers say the findings demonstrate the growing role of business analytics and artificial intelligence in modern healthcare, enabling organizations to move beyond retrospective reporting toward predictive insights and evidence-based strategic planning. The proposed framework offers practical guidance for healthcare administrators, policymakers, and clinical leaders seeking to strengthen patient-centered care while improving organizational performance.

The award selection process was supervised by an international organizing committee comprising distinguished academics from the United States, Greece, and India. The committee was led by Prof. Dr. Rhituraj Saikia, President of Eudoxia Research University, USA, with support from senior academic leaders including Prof. Dr. Caleb Moyo, Prof. Dr. Dimitrios A. Karras, Dr. Rania Lompaou, Prof. Dr. Pratisha Kumari, Prof. Dr. Rajesh G. Konnur, Dr. Bulus Pikitda, and Dr. Smreeti Mehta.

The international recognition marks an important milestone in Al Akhir's academic career and highlights the growing contribution of Bangladeshi researchers to global advancements in business analytics and healthcare innovation. His work reinforces the potential of data-driven technologies to improve healthcare quality, optimize resource utilization, and support more resilient and sustainable health systems worldwide.
