Two arrested with firearms in Khulna

KHULNA, July 27: Members of RAB-6 arrested an alleged criminal and an active member of the Tiger Group with a foreign-made revolver from the city’s Rayermohol area on Sunday, according to a RAB-6 press release.

The arrestee is Md Robiul Islam, 36, son of late Sheikh Lal Mia of Rayermohol under Harintana Police Station (PS).

The arrestee has 16 cases filed against him with different PSs in Khulna Metropolitan area. A case under the Arms Act is under process.

Meanwhile, in a separate operation, RAB-6 arrested an alleged criminal, Shahadat Hossain, along with a foreign-made pistol from a house on Barek Road in Jashore town on Saturday night.
