Bangladesh participates in Home Show Brazil 2026

Bangladesh is participating in the 'Home Show Brazil 2026' in Sao Paulo, seeking to expand its export basket and explore new market opportunities in South America.
The three-day trade fair began Tuesday (August 11) at Distrito Anhembi in Sao Paulo with financial support from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and under the management of the Bangladesh Embassy in Brasilia.
Four Bangladeshi companies-Jihan Plastic Industries, Mother Tannery, Rainbow Jute and Classical Handmade Products-are showcasing their products at five booths at the major South American trade fair.

The EPB and Bangladesh Embassy have also set up a separate booth featuring brochures, leaflets and publications on Bangladesh's exportable products, along with audio-visual materials highlighting the country's export sector.
Bangladeshi exhibitors are displaying a diverse range of products, including jute goods, bags, leather products, natural-fibre baskets, home d‚cor items, bamboo products, terracotta and clay products, and Nakshi Kantha.
Formal inauguration of the Bangladesh pavilion held on Tuesday morning in the presence of officials of the Bangladesh Embassy, representatives of Brazilian government agencies, fair organisers and representatives of the participating Bangladeshi companies.
Following the inauguration, the Bangladeshi stalls drew a growing number of visitors and buyers, while several business-to-business (B2B) meetings were held.
Potential buyers visited the stalls to learn about the quality of Bangladeshi products and expressed appreciation for the items on display. Some visitors also showed interest in purchasing the products.
As part of the fair's sideline events, a seminar titled "Production and Export of Home and Lifestyle Products from Bangladesh" will be held today.
Representatives of various Brazilian business organisations and foreign buyers are expected to attend the seminar.
The organisers hope Bangladesh's participation in Home Show Brazil 2026 will create new opportunities to promote and market Bangladeshi home d‚cor and lifestyle products in Latin American markets.
The initiative is also expected to help Bangladeshi exporters establish new business contacts, identify potential buyers and diversify the country's export destinations in the region.
