Prez Mirza Fakhrul at Bangabhaban

President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir arrived at Bangabhaban on Sunday and started his first working day there.

Upon his arrival, he was given a guard of honour, Yunus Ali, personal aide to the President, confirmed.

Mirza Fakhrul was elected Bangladesh's 23rd president on Thursday (August 20) in the presidential election held at the Jatiya Sangsad. He took oath as president on Friday night.
