All types of goods import and export activities between India and Bangladesh through Hili Land Port in Dinajpur will remain suspended on Wednesday, August 26, on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
The information was announced in a notice signed by Md Shahinur Islam Shahin, general secretary of the Hili Customs C&F Agents Association.
Importers, exporters, C&F agents and other businesses concerned have been informed of the closure.
However, despite the suspension of cargo import and export activities, the movement of valid passport-holding passengers between India and Bangladesh through the Hili Immigration Checkpost will remain normal, according to the relevant sources.
Import and export activities at Hili Land Port will resume on Thursday, August 27, after the Eid holiday.
