
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, NCC Bank has provided a one-time grant of Tk 1.5 crore (15 million) to the Aparajito 24 Foundation to support the medical treatment and economic self-reliance of individuals severely injured during the July 2024 popular uprising.
Through this assistance, 50 people who were critically affected by the July 24 uprising will be brought under rehabilitation programs. Each beneficiary will receive support of up to Tk 3 lakh (300,000/-).
Recently, at an event organized at NCC Bank's head office, NCC Bank Chairman Md. Nurun Newaz Salim handed over a check for Tk 1.5 crore to Saiful Islam, Vice President of Aparajito 24 Foundation, says a press release.
Present on the occasion were NCC Bank Vice Chairman Engineer Abdus Salam, Managing Director M. Shamsul Arefin, and Company Secretary (Current Charge) Md. Nazrul Islam Chowdhury FCS, along with Aparajito 24 Foundation's General Secretary Dr. M. Mustajib Haider, Shahriar Akter Haque, Program Coordinator Abdullah As Sakib and Program Officer Tasmia Hoque Mowsomi.
