Four DIGs of prisons get new postings

Four Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of the Prisons Department have been transferred and assigned elsewhere.

A notification from the Security Services Division of the Home Ministry was made on Sunday (August 30).

It states that Md Tipu Sultan has been transferred to the Prisons Department, and Md Altab Hossain has been posted to the Khulna Divisional Headquarters at Jashore.

The fourth DIG who has been transferred is Md Kamal Hossain to Dhaka Division-2 Headquarters at Gazipur, while the fifth is Monir Ahmed to Rangpur Divisional Headquarters.
