Asiya murder: HC reading out judgement

The High Court has started reading out the death reference and appeals of Hitu Sheikh in the case over the rape and murder of eight-year-old Asiya in Magura.

An HC bench of Justice Bhishmadev Chakraborty and Justice KM Rasheduzzaman Raja is reading out the verdictwill hand down the judgement.

The court fixed August 25 for the verdict, but later deferred following a time petition of the state.
