
A daylong Divisional Conference-2026 of Bangladesh Krishi Bank's Mymensingh Division was held on Friday at Advocate Tareq Memorial Auditorium,Town Hall Muktomancha.
Mohammed Nurul Amin, Chairman of the Bank's Board of Directors, attended as chief guest and delivered the keynote address, providing strategic direction to the conference. In his address, the Chairman laid special emphasis on the successful implementation ofBangla QR for Transactions" in building a cashless Bangladesh. Highlighting financial inclusion, he underscored the extensive contribution and far-reaching role of school banking, says a press release.
He also directed that loans for women entrepreneurs under CMSME category to be disbursed on a priority basis. Describing Krishi Bank's initiative of transparent loan disbursement as commendable, the Chairman made an earnest call to officials and staff at all levels to work toward the effective implementation of strategic planning frombank management.
The conference was presided by Zamil Ahmed, General Manager of Mymensingh Division. Md Abdur Rahim, Deputy Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank, and Joydev Chandra Banik, Director of Bangladesh Bank's Mymensingh office,Additional Divisional Commissioner John Kennedy Jambiland Additional DC (General) Reza Md Golam Masum Prothan were present as special guests. General Managers from the bank's Head office, the Board Secretary and the Deputy General Manager of SME department were present as special guests.
The conference was further attended by the Divisional Audit Officer, all Chief Regional Managers, Regional Audit Officers, and all branch managers, second officers, and field officers along with concerned ones.
