Man detained for sexually assaulting cow

Gujarat Rajkot District of India has detained a man after he was caught red-handed while sexually abusing a two-year-old cow near a local cremation site.

Such revolting act of cruelty came to light on Saturday (September 12). The accused, identified as Kanubhai Gondaliya, engaged in the stomach-churning act after the young bovine strayed away from her owner's homestead in a Rajkot village. India Today reported the matter.

The animal's owner, cattle rearer Merkhibhai Chavda, went searching for his missing livestock and stumbled upon the scene near the village cremation grounds.

Upon realizing he had been spotted in the middle of the vile assault, Gondaliya fled the scene in a bid to escape accountability.

However, another local resident who witnessed the grotesque encounter managed to record the act on his mobile phone, capturing evidence of the horrific abuse.

Chavda immediately reported the abhorrent incident to the authorities and lodged a formal complaint. Police subsequently tracked down and detained Gondaliya, registering a case against him under Section 11(1)(a) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
